TRNK is an online destination for cultivated living. They feature a content-rich shopping experience with a carefully-curated selection of homewares, as well as a self-designed line of upholstered seating and pillows, all carefully crafted in the USA. We were approached by TRNK to refresh their established branding and create a completely new web presence to better accommodate their growing business.

 

A new look

We refreshed their branding by paring their existing branding down to just their logo and then developing a new typographic system and restrained color palette to elevate their visual identity and better reflect the aesthetic of their work.

TRNK's line of self-designed furniture comes in a dizzying array of customizable options. One of the biggest design challenges was to create an experience that allowed customers to easily navigate their line and customize their furniture, while keeping the process straightforward and enjoyable.

We developed a flexible system of customization options with a fluid layout that allows easy browsing and customizing across all devices. Customers can browse different options and learn more about the details of different fabrics and features, while keeping the amount of information and options displayed at any given time down to a manageable amount.
